2018 Acura NSX in Charlotte

The 2018 Acura NSX is a Supercar Unlike Any Other in Charlotte

The everyday supercar. That's what the Acura NSX has been called--and it's a claim that's hard to deny. It's the type of high-powered, high-performance sports car that you can send screaming down the highway, but then take home to your parents. It's unlike anything else on the roads of Charlotte. For 2018, the Acura NSX doesn't offer specific trim levels, but rather lets you custom-build your dream car from scratch.

Practical Luxury and Supported Comfort

A sharp, edgy design outside hides a surprisingly soft, plush interior. Ergonomically-built seats support you through every turn--even for tall drivers. The center console is built around Acura's new push-button transmission shift system, which cascades down along your arm's reach. A dual-zone climate control system maintains comfort for both driver and passenger, while available sport seats upholstered with red leather and faux-suede make for a sharp, drastic look. Control your media, music, calls, and more through the touchscreen or through intuitively-placed steering-wheel buttons and toggles.

Purity of Form

Pure dynamics. Pure style. Pure supercar. Every inch of the new 2018 Acura NSX has been engineered and optimized for aerodynamic performance and sharp styling. Subtle badging and gaping air intake vents at the front of the vehicle complement smooth curves, while ultra-slim A-pillars create a light and agile look. A bold, rear taillight bar design accentuates the strength and muscle of this rear-wheel drive supercar.

Engines and Specs

Here's where it gets interesting--the 2018 Acura NSX actually offers a state-of-the-art hybrid-electric powertrain, made up of a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 and three electric motor. Together, the system is good for 573 horsepower and 476 pound-feet of torque (500 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque from just the engine) when paired to Acura's nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The engine and one motor power the rear wheels, while the remaining two motors power the front wheels, giving the 2018 Acura NSX the power of Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.

Technology and Acoustics

Technology features start with the sound: this car is optimized so that, in Quiet mode, you can cruise with no engine noise at all, and in Track mode, you can open up its throat for a full, powerful bellow. When you want to listen to a favorite song, rather than exhaust notes, an available 580-watt, nine-speaker ELS Studio Premium Audio delivers. A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard navigation.
